Eventually, he transitioned into narrative filmmaking, directing his own projects. While creating his award-winning short film, THE LAST DRAG, Dylan taught himself VFX, which he has since incorporated into many of his projects, further pursuing it as a career. His work has been featured by HBOMax, Radical Media, Tumblr, and more.

Most recently, Dylan has collaborated with the stunt team behind FALLOUT on his short film, THE MAN OF MANY HATS, an action-comedy about hats that give powers that is currently making its way on the festival circuit.

  • A Pasadena boy at heart, I love the mountains and palm trees, the sound of a mourning dove and the smell of jasmine, but I live in Brooklyn and I love that too. The subway is sick. Walking is sicker. Pigeons are the sickest. Big fan of pigeons. Happy to discuss pigeons.

I love being goofy and a good hearty laugh. The kind of laugh where you choke a little bit and think you might be dying but it's okay because you're with friends and they're probably going to hell with you.

I sail and scuba and play the banjo. I get bored easy, read a lot, and eat kiwis with the skin on. I took a welding class once. That was cool.

But I think the thing I'm best at is making people feel comfortable. Letting people know they can be silly and that they can be themselves. That's my favorite.
